Naan and rice with meat


Ingredients

For the meat sauce
  • 300 g Tomato pulp
  • 300 g Ground beef
  • 240 g Basmati rice (and wild rice mixed)
  • 1Onion
  • 1Chili bird
  • 1Olive oil fillet
  • Basil sprigs (a little) 
  • Salt
  • Pepper

For the naans
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1Yogurt
  • sachet Baker's yeast
  • tsp. Coffee Salt
  • 1Oil drizzle
  • cl lukewarm water

  • Preparation steps

    1. First prepare the dough for the naans. In a food processor (or a salad bowl), pour the flour, salt, yeast; water and oil. Then add the yogurt and mix. Once a homogeneous dough is obtained, leave to stand for around 2 hours in a warm room, covering the salad bowl with a clean cloth. The dough has doubled in size.
    2. Prepare the sauce: peel and chop the onion. In a frying pan, melt the onion in olive oil for 5 min. Add the ground meat, the chili pepper and the tomato pulp. Simmer for 20 min. Sprinkle with chopped basil and mix.
    3. At the same time, cook the rice in boiling water according to the time indicated on the package. Drain and set aside.
    4. Cook the naans: cut the dough into 4 and roll them out into rolls about 1 cm thick. Flatten them with a roller and then brown them in a hot pan for about 2 min per side before eating them hot with the rice and the meat sauce.
