Delicious cheese bread, ideal for the beach or the buffet!


Summer is holding up well and the beach has its honor. And most beaches may be organized, with drinks and food, but we can always save money and eat a healthy diet. Especially when we have young children who are increasingly hungry, the taper is the only solution. So what do we get on the beach? But of course very easy, delicious cheese bread that young and old love. See how easy they are with the following recipe.

Recipe ingredients

  • 700 gr. flour for all uses
  • 1 sachet of dry yeast
  • 1 cup teaspoon warm water
  • 450 g grated cheese (mainly feta, gruyere or cheese)
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Recipe execution

Make dough, as in pizza.

Knead the flour with the yeast, the warm water (be careful, not hot because the yeast will cut), salt and a little olive oil.

Leave the dough to rise in ambient conditions.

After it swells, divide it into small balls, and shape each ball with cheese, opening it like a wide frying pan.

Put a little olive oil in a non-stick pan and fry the cheese bread.

As a healthier option, we can of course bake the cheesecakes in the oven, on non-stick paper.

Once they get colored, remove from the pan and place on kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil.

Alternatively: In the same dough we can make olive bread, as long as we add chopped olives and oregano.

Tips

  • The cheesecakes are kept in the refrigerator. Bake them in the afternoon to have them ready the next day at the beach!
  • You can of course give a nice shape to your cheesecakes and serve them at the buffet at your children's party or celebration!
