Easy chocolate cake with almonds

Recipe ingredients
- 160 gr. chocolate couverture, chopped
- 160 gr. butter
- 5 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup almonds, ground
- 100 gr. almonds, roasted, chopped
- 30 gr. chocolate zest
- 1 cup almonds, roasted and chopped (for garnish)
To cover
- 125 gr. couverture, in pieces
- Half a cup. whipping cream
Recipe execution
First, preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius, in a 22 cm pan or pan, buttered and coated with oil paste.
Melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, letting it come to room temperature.
Then beat the yolks with sugar for 6 to 7 minutes, until fluffy and white.
Add the melted chocolate and the ground almonds.
Beat the white meringue and add the mixture, folding it gently with a spatula.
Pour it into the form and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Leave it for 15 minutes and then take it out on a plate.
Meanwhile, make the coating by melting the chocolate with the cream over low heat.
Finally, pour the icing over the cake and sprinkle with the almonds.

Tips
- If we want, we can also add alcohol to our chocolate. But to do that, we must first put in the fat and then everything else. Otherwise it will petrify and spoil.
