Chocolate truffles
Ingredients for 4 people
- 300 g dark chocolate, good quality
- 200 g of milk chocolate
- 200 g liquid cream
- Cocoa powder to pass on the truffles
Recipe
- We will put the cream to boil in a bowl first. As soon as it starts to boil, we take it out of the fire. We quickly put the chocolate pieces in it, dark and milky chocolate, and let it rest for a few minutes until the chocolate has melted.
- We then insert a rubber spatula or wooden spoon and start stirring, stirring until we get a smooth, homogeneous chocolate dough.
- In the same bowl we can leave the dough to cool in the fridge, well covered, for a few hours, to make the chocolate hard.
- After that, we will make chunks of truffle with the help of a teaspoon. Shape the truffle pieces and in the cocoa powder, if the cocoa is sour better, we will pass them later.
- Let them rest and eat them.

The traditional "truffle" originated in Belgium and was named after a mushroom called truffle ( Tuber melanosporum ). Tuber melanosporum , the black truffle, Périgord truffle or French black truffle.
